I was also a big fan of the non-album singles "Land Ho" (pre- Crime) and "You Started Laughing When I Held You In My Arms" (b-side of "Lady").Īnd then came Quietest Moments, both the album and the live show, and my love of Supertramp was over. didn't like the first, but unlike a lot of others here, I really enjoyed Indelibly Stamped. I then used the gap between Crisis and Quietest Moments to track back for the first two albums. But "Sister Moonshine" was already in there, and it's still one of my favourite Supertramp songs. I don't remember the Crime set list because I was so new to the band - I didn't even have the album at the time, just the "Dreamer" single. the first on the Crime tour (a very young, first LP Chris deBurgh and the BBC Tubular Bells TV film opened) then for Crisis (Joan Armatrading supported) and both were among the best shows I'd seen up to that point - with the Crisis gig just about shading it, I think.
